Four Amazing Years!

If I don’t answer calls or emails within the next 72 hours, it’s because my hubby and I are embarking on our Fourth Wedding Anniversary Excursion!

To you, my handsome husband….. I dedicate this prose from a classic poetic duo:

A lover and a fighter and he’ll knock another out
Don’t take him for a sucker cuz that’s not what he’s about
Every time I need him, he always got my back
Never disrespectful cuz his mama taught him that

What a man, what a man, what a man
What a mighty good man

We are going ‘Out of Town’ to be tourists in our Hometown of Saint Louis. Tonight, a baseball game with GREAT seats- if you are watching on tv, look for the redheaded preggo behind home plate!

The rest of the weekend is inspired by Guy Fieri’s show, ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives’. First stop, Sweetie Pie’s on Manchester.  Second stop, Iron Barley.  Pictures will follow OF COURSE!

The other day Sydney saw a wedding picture of her daddy and I and said, “Mommy princess!” That just made my day….

The picture on the right is my favorite of the day- it TOTALLY described how overwhelmed I felt. I didn’t even know half of the ordeals that my angels behind the scenes were going through orchestrating the perfect day for me! Brides, did you feel like that too on your day?

My dad walking me down the aisle-

Kayla+Tony Sneak Peek

It’s true- the busier I am, the less you are seeing of my awesome clients on the blog! That will be remedied quite soon. I appreciate you coming to see me even when posts are sparse!

A full day recap post is coming in the future of Kayla and Tony’s Wedding Day- but until then, just sit back and relive it in the Wedding Day Slideshow. Don’t you just love her dress? It’s like a Fairy Princess and Marylin Monroe combined.

Carrie+Kyle Sneak Peek!

More of their day coming soon. Check out the wedding album here!

Coming soon:

The Roman Family

Eating through San Francisco

This post is brought to you by Pregnancy: Making food taste incredible since 1916. These are some of the culinary adventures I experienced in San Francisco. As you may guess, the cuisine is a bit different than in Saint Louis. I was never able to figure out how to cook this fruit/vegetable/porcupine:

I ran into Phil from Philz Coffee and told him how much of a Philz fan we were- he gave me a coupon for free coffee! Score!

My SIL Amy is an incredible cook- here are a few of her creations. Below you see eggs over easy, sliced baguette and spicy sauteed sweet potato.

Fritatta with veggies, goat’s milk and sliced fresh tomatoes.

SIL Megan’s special request: a trip to Tartine!

Next, a stop at the Bi Rite Cremery.

I chose the Honey Lavender. I’d do it again.

A chef at Lucca making fresh tortellini.

Baby REALLY liked the corner store $1.50 tacos. I may or may not have eaten five of them in one sitting.

Finally, a San Francisco local treat- the It’s-It!

Elizabeth+Oleg

Oleg and Elizabeth married at the Botanical Gardens on a steamy, colorful summer day. The wedding album is here!

Amber’s Senior Session

You wouldn’t guess it from looking- but we did this session in triple digit weather! Man it was hot! Amber did a great job of being at home in front of the camera and laughing at all of my horrible jokes. She’s the real deal!

Happy America!

Twas the Night Before Fourth of July, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, except for outside the house where lots of fireworks were exploding.

HAPPY AMERICA EVERYBODY!

Thanks to the servicemen and women who help make this a day to celebrate!
