I knew Katie from her youth group at Calvary Mid Rivers several years ago. She is always bubbly and smiling, so fun to be around. I was trilled to be asked to shoot her day.
She got ready in her parent’s house in the woods. The window well was so pretty I used it three times!
Dress and veil- Simply Elegant
Fun robes with the girl’s names embroidered on the side!
The Bridesmaid dresses were all different styles and colors of gray. Very unique just like Katie!
Check out these gladiator heels! So much bling!
A new penny in her handkerchief for good luck.
The boys waiting in the hotel lobby. They got locked out of their rooms!
A hula hoop reserved for the reception dance party got tested out.
Mom helping Katie with her veil.
I loved this window light in this little room where the girls got ready.

Lace from Katie’s mom’s dress…
Dad’s first time seeing her:
One thing about that day is that it was WET. We had lot of plans for outside pictures that were foiled because the heavens opened up and rained on our heads!
Drip, drip drip!
You can see the raindrops falling on Kevin here as we quickly switched locations for pictures. Hey, inclement weather bring a sense of spontaneity to the pictures, I say!
Katie and her little flower girl right before the ceremony.
Look at this little dude!
Thankfully the rain cleared just in time for the staff to get out chairs and have the outdoor ceremony Katie had her heart set on.
Sealed with a kiss!
More to come later! So many great pictures came from this wedding I decided to break it up into two posts.
